How to Use

For an extra gentle, extra powerful clean on baby's toughest stains:

Step 1. Add the powder directly to the drum of your washing machine before adding baby's laundry, for both standard and HE washing machines.

Step 2. Choose either warm or hot water. Hot water works best on formula, poop & spit-up stains. (If you must use cold water, pre-treat with our Stain Remover Spray and use an extra 1-2 scoops of powder.) 

Step 3. Sit back, relax, and let Molly's Suds do the hard work. Once wash cycle is complete, hang dry baby's delicates (like bamboo fabrics, sleep sacks and sweaters) and run remaining clothes through dryer cycle with our Wool Dryer Balls!

PRO TIP: If your home has hard water, add ½ cup of white vinegar to balance the pH level. Vinegar is a natural fabric softener! Use Oxygen Whitener as a laundry booster for extra dirty or stained loads — it’s a chlorine-free, color-safe bleach alternative.

After our founder, Monica Leonard, experienced the tragic loss of her daughter, Molly, she discovered the toxic chemicals included in common household cleaning products and knew she needed to remove them from her home and replace them with safer, simpler cleaning alternatives.

The one place she couldn’t find a satisfactory option? The laundry room! All of the 'natural' products she tried didn’t clean well or left a sticky residue. Many of them even included questionable ingredients. Even conventional detergents marketed as safe for babies, such as Dreft, received "F" ratings from the Environmental Working Group (EWG). Truly gentle yet powerful laundry detergent powder was nowhere to be found — so, she decided to partner with a green chemist to create her own!

A short time later, our Original Laundry Powder hit the shelves of our newly launched brand, Molly’s Suds. Baby Laundry Detergent Powder is an enhanced version of this original formula, and is an extra gentle, extra effective option for moms and parents everywhere.
